5.7 SYSTEM ERROR JOURNAL REPORTS

Reports are issued by the CG to the LCN System Error Journal in the event of certain data

link communications errors. Each error type is assigned both a primary and secondary

code for identification as follows.

0 80 Link 1 up

0 81 Link 2 up

0 82 Both links up

25 61 Block out of sequence

26 62 Illegal Transaction Code

27 63 Illegal CG Identifier

28 64 Number of words out of range

29 65 Number of blocks out of range

30 66 Block data too small

31 67 Block data size conflict

32 68 Block header conflict

33 69 Message size conflict

34 70 Message timeout

35 71 Not multimessage type

37 73 Confirm timeout

38 74 Time Synchronization timeout

39 75 Entity not found

40 76 Invalid Internal ID

Note that the meanings assigned to codes 25/61 (primary/secondary) through 34/70

correspond to negative Message Confirmation codes 0 through 9 (see paragraph 4.2.2).
